These Terms and Conditions apply to all participants, parents/guardians, and users of services provided by The Heels Studio . By buying, enrolling or attending classes you agree to be bound by these terms.
Class Location
Classes operated by The Heels Studio are held at:
Star Theatres
145 sir donald bradman road, hilton, adelaide, south australia 5033.
Star Theatres acts as the venue provider only and is not responsible for the operation, instruction, supervision, or management of The Heels Studio.
Eligibility and Participation
Participation in classes is open to individuals who are physically and psychologically fit to engage in non-competitive dance and movement activities.
By enrolling, you confirm that:
· You (or your child) are in good health and able to safely participate
· Any relevant medical conditions or injuries have been disclosed to us prior to participation
We reserve the right to refuse or suspend participation where safety concerns arise.
Health and Risk
Dance and movement activities involve inherent risk. Participation is undertaken at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Heels Studio is not liable for injury, loss, or damage sustained before, during, or after classes, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Participants (or parents/guardians) are responsible for ensuring appropriate physical readiness and for following all safety instructions given (i.e., engage in warm up at the beginning of class, and stretch appropriately after class) by instructors.
Insurance
The Heels Studio. holds appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance relevant to the teaching of dance and movement classes.
This insurance provides coverage in accordance with the policy terms for incidents arising from the operation of classes by The Heels Studio.
Participants acknowledge that:
· Insurance coverage is subject to policy terms, conditions, and exclusions
· Participation in classes remains at the participant’s own risk
· Insurance does not negate the inherent risks associated with dance and movement activities
Star Theatres acts as the venue provider only and maintains its own insurance independently of The Heels Studio.
Instructor Qualifications
Classes at The Heels Studio are taught by a certified heels dance instructor.
The owner and lead instructor of The Heels Studio has completed recognised training in heels dance instruction and maintains appropriate qualifications relevant to the teaching of heels-based movement and choreography.
Participants acknowledge that:
· Certification reflects professional training and competence in heels dance instruction
· Participation in classes remains subject to individual physical capability and responsibility
· Instructor qualifications do not eliminate the inherent risks associated with dance and movement activities.
Proof of instructor qualifications and insurance is available upon request.
Minors
Where the participant is under 18 years of age:
· A parent or legal guardian must provide consent
· The parent/guardian accepts full responsibility for the minor’s participation.
Bookings, Fees, and Payments
· Fees must be paid by the specified due date
· Fees are non-refundable unless required by law
Cancelations and Missed Classes
· Missed classes due to illness, personal commitments, or other reasons are non-refundable
· Make-up classes or credits may be offered at our discretion
· We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances. in such circumstances, we will refund payments made by the client for the cancelled class.
Behaviour and Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, and other participants.
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.
Intellectual Property
All choreography, class content, teaching materials, branding, and media created by The Heels Studio. remain our intellectual property. All choreography created is the property of the heels studio. (see Originality Statement). Recording, copying, or reproducing class content without written permission is prohibited. Filming the choreography for personal social media accounts and at the designated time in class is permitted.
Photography and Video
From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during classes or events for promotional purposes.
By participating, you consent to the use of such media unless you notify us in writing prior to participation.
Website Use
Content on this website is provided for general information only. We do not guarantee accuracy or completeness and reserve the right to update content at any time.
Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of service.
Changes to Terms
